Light Up Black and African Heritage Calderdale (LightupBahc) was founded in 2019.The purpose for the centre was based on a survey of Africans living across Calderdale which revealed that Africans living in the area would welcome a centre where they would be able to meet socially and participate in promoting African culture in the community.

Since then, with the support of many organisations and a lot of hard work, the organisation has gone from strength to strength, catering for people across Calderdale .

Light Up Black and African Heritage Calderdale is an Organisation  which operates across Calderdale and Leeds.
